What do creative careers look like?

How can young people use creativity to shape their career paths?

What role does creativity play in tech-driven roles?

As part of its ‘Careers Series – For Students’, Apps for Good invited Duncan Brannan, Partner and Lead Designer at Treehouse Innovation to join Fabiana Guglielmi, Head of Creative and Production at NovaKid, for a discussion about creative career paths.

In this episode, Duncan and Fabi delve into their experiences with creative careers, sharing insights on everything from their personal career journeys to how creativity shapes their daily work.

Curiosity is key to creativity

Interviewed by Laura Andrews, Senior Marketing Manager at Apps for Good, Duncan and Fabi provide students with a clear understanding of their current roles and how they infuse creativity into their professional lives. They also share examples of exciting projects they’ve worked on, highlighting the diverse experiences that have shaped their careers.

Duncan Brannan,

“You’ve heard of S.T.E.M, well I’m a big fan of S.T.E.A.M, so it becomes Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. I think the magic happens when you bring science and art together. You need that cognitive diversity – if you can bring people together who have different ways of thinking then you can come up with some really great ideas.”
