At Treehouse, we work with and train thousands of ‘non-designers’, such as accountants, marketers, engineers, lawyers, and HR specialists. For many, the methods they learn are not be applied in dedicated innovation projects, so the real measure of our success is how well we can equip them to get better, more innovative results in their jobs.

That’s why, in 2021, we partnered with widely published author and educator Jeanne Liedtka, along with her co-authors, Karen Hold and Jessica Eldridge, who have worked with thousands of non-professional designers for over 10 years to determine that

all successful innovators have one thing in common - they demonstrate a specific set of observable behaviours that reveal five core skill.

The Innovation Impact: Skills assessment allows you to measure your current strengths and growth opportunities across these five skills, and provides you with practical guidance to help you move away from the behaviours that are limiting you to those that will help you make the biggest impact in whatever work you do.
