Adam is the founder of Treehouse Innovation. He has spent most of his career working with companies to design new products, services and strategies; and to develop their own internal innovation capability.

Formerly with Ernst & Young Consulting, Adam has led numerous innovation projects and design events for all types of organisations. Recent clients include Amazon, NBCUniversal, eBay, Sony PlayStation, DuPont, Microsoft and many others.

He is a frequent lecturer on design thinking at Cambridge University’s executive education and leadership development programmes. He has additionally designed and delivered learning and leadership programmes with top business schools including Imperial College London, The Judge Business School in Cambridge, Rice University, Georgia Tech and others.

Nathan is a partner at Treehouse Innovation where he helps organisations build cultures of innovation. In his past life, he set up and ran four new businesses at world-renowned design and innovation firm IDEO, including co-founding OpenIDEO.com a global platform of over 300,000 innovators.

He has facilitated workshops with hundreds of participants and led organisation design programs that have helped shift the innovation strategy for traditional organisations such as Freudenberg and Generali and helped design a startup incubator for Europe called HackFWD. He has worked with clients such as HP, IKEA, T-Mobile, VISA, Oxfam, SKY to help them to innovate.

He is an experienced public speaker and has delivered keynotes at TEDx, The Economist events, and the White House on topics such as the role of Design, Innovation and Collaboration.

Duncan is a Partner at Treehouse Innovation. He has designed and led engagements with organisations including DLA Piper, American Express, Sony Playstation, Capgemini, and Coca Cola. He teaches on executive MBA and other corporate training programmes at Cambridge University and London Business School. An engaging and confident facilitator, he gains great satisfaction from helping people to develop their own creative confidence, work better together, and find innovative solutions.

Following a first degree in Philosophy & Psychology from Durham University, Duncan started his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he consulted on technology solutions for global clients in the financial services sector. He left PwC to return to university, this time to the University of Kent, where he gained a first-class degree in Fine Art.

El is a partner at Treehouse Innovation and recognised expert in innovation, facilitation and business strategy with over 20 years of experience designing and implementing strategic initiatives around the world.

She specialises in helping organisations with creating an innovation culture and has delivered training courses to hundreds of participants, in addition to leading strategy and design engagements with global clients including Orange Business Services, eBay, Novartis, SKY, DLA Piper and Generali to inform their innovation journey.

Prior to her work with Treehouse, El was an Innovation leader within Fujitsu where she set up and ran the customer co-creation service. She led customer co-creation and NPD projects, alongside delivering workshops and training sessions to give teams the creative confidence to put their ideas into action.

She enjoys working with diverse teams and users in solving real challenges with end-user insights. Uncovering the” little things that will make the biggest difference”.

Steve is an expert facilitator and design thinking specialist. At Treehouse Innovation, he is part of the leadership team. He loves helping leaders build organisations that will make the world a better place: designing and making great products and services, providing rewarding careers and creating value for owners by solving the problems that societies face.

Key clients have included Accenture, Microsoft, Qantas, Optus, Oracle, Westpac, Woolworths, Janssen and KPMG. With a focus on inspiring, challenging and developing he has worked with teams of 10 to conferences of up to 1000.

He has spent the last seven years working in Australia, New Zealand and across Asia with executives and senior leaders in financial services, travel and aviation, IT, FMCG, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and many professional services.

Jana is a Partner at Treehouse Innovation. Starting her career as a litigator in Miami she then segued into the world of innovation as the Changemaker for DLA Piper. There she created the firm’s strategy and team of Radical Change. Housed within her team, she led the firm’s data scientists and is well versed in AI and technology solutions. She has years of experience in innovation strategy, stakeholder management, change management, product creation, and culture change. She has designed and facilitated workshops for ten to 200 participants, is a confident speaker, and has advised dozens of in-house legal teams at FTSE 100 corporations on innovation projects or strategy.

Jana enjoys working with diverse teams on turning human led insights into tangible and impactful change.

At the Design Sprint Academy, he helped to build an international Design network of over 6,000 members in collaboration with Google. Mark has facilitated design sprints and trained teams for major firms like P&G, SAP and Nike, focusing on strategic innovation. Beyond Design Sprints, his passion lies in sustainability, actively working on creating sustainable business models. He is committed to merging innovative design with environmental stewardship, shaping a sustainable future in business practices.

Marie is a design thinker with a passion for creative innovation, design process and environmentally centered education design. She deeply believes that design can help navigate complex systems and offer an agile sustainable lifestyle for people.

As an experienced designer at TreeHouse Innovation, she teaches and facilitates Design Thinking workshops to help our clients to solve problems and develop their own internal cultures of innovation. You’ll also find her supporting project teams through ethnographic research, framework and tool development, and project management.

Marie is part of a sailing family. They participate in classic yacht regattas on the Mediterranean Sea with Sagittarius. She also volunteers at the Design Museum to help facilitate their education programmes.

Prior to joining Treehouse innovation Bahi has worked in a similar capacity with an international boutique Service Design agency, Livework Studio for 10 years.

Bahi is a Senior Finance and Operations leader and have a wealth of experience from increasingly progressive roles over the years as a Management Accountant, a Finance business Partner and a Commercial Director, giving him extensive experience in managing finance and operations at all levels in creative industries. He is passionate about contributing to business growth through streamlining operations and providing commercial insights into the business.

Jarvis is a versatile Graphic Designer with a wealth of experience built from having worked for a variety of advertising and service agencies across the UK over the past 25 years.

Beginning his career in TV graphics, animation and motion design, Jarvis has worked on documentary graphics for major broadcast channels such as the BBC and Channel 4, he has also collaborated on opening title sequences and graphics for major motion pictures as well as independently funded shorts.

For the past 15 years, Jarvis has worked predominantly in web design/development, branding and UX/UI design for a multitude of large and small businesses in a variety of sectors across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Richard is a software engineer with 20 years’ experience working with small agile development teams as well as leading large multi-site customer implementations and he is currently responsible for the continued development of Treehouse’s Sprintbase application.

Before becoming a member of the Treehouse team, Richard worked as a consultant and has helped implement many Microsoft-based solutions to large corporate customers. Prior to that he worked for a number of years developing real-time servo-hydraulic control systems used by Formula 1 race teams and Earthquake simulations.

Brooke is a consultant and facilitator at Treehouse Innovation working on projects, and facilitating and supporting design thinking workshops. She is also part of the Innovation Mindsets team, helping to design and develop our assessment tools.

Prior to joining Treehouse, Brooke worked for an innovation consultancy in Cape Town, where she focussed largely on clients in the medical, insurance and financial services industries. She also set up and lead a non-profit project to develop an innovative mobile recycling service in South Africa, which financially rewards residents of low income communities for their recyclables and diverts thousands of tonnes of waste from landfill each month.

When she’s not designing or facilitating, you’ll find her hiking a mountain somewhere around Cape Town.

Mark is a veteran design thinker, facilitator, and a former innovation leader at Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal. An early adopter of design thinking, Mark helped colleagues identify new AI-powered business opportunities, prototype them, and take them to market. This led to successful launches including mansionglobal.com – a high-end property portal. Mark also ran his own corporate venturing consultancy in London, which helped launch new ventures for British Telecom, eBay and Amazon, and drove rapid growth for Yougov, the now global public opinion and data company . Mark also served as an infantry officer in the British Army for seven years.

Karen Hold is the founder and CEO of innovation strategy consulting firm, Experience Labs. A Procter & Gamble-trained brand marketer, Karen saw firsthand how P&G drove revenue and profit growth with innovation. With over 25 years of experience, Karen has consulted for dozens of Fortune 500 companies including AARP, AT&T, Alcatel-Lucent, Audi, Chick-fil-A, Cisco, John Hancock, Mercedes, Nokia, NEC, and Porsche. She is passionate about building creative capacity in individuals, organizations and cities.

Prior to forming Experience Labs, Karen was co-founder of Broadband Publishing, where she built sales through innovative marketing partnerships with Forbes and BusinessWeek magazines. Karen’s first book, written with Jeanne Liedtka and Jessica Eldridge, Experiencing Design – The Innovator’s Journey, was published by Columbia Business School Publishing in July 2021.

Karen is a graduate of Duke University and Georgetown’s McDonough Graduate School of Business. She is the Director of DT:DC, a 5,100 member MeetUp group in Washington, DC. She is a Visiting Executive Lecturer at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Visiting Professor at Ecole des Ponts in Paris, France and Casablanca, Morocco.

Michael Hartmann is a jointly appointed Professor of Medicine and Management at McMaster University, Co-Director of the University’s Health Leadership Academy and Principal of The Directors College – Canada’s founding professional development program for board directors (2003-2021). He also serves as the founding Executive Director of an EMBA program in Digital Transformation teaching courses on Corporate Innovation and Digital Entrepreneurship. Dr. Hartmann has held senior leadership roles with universities in the UK and Canada. He previously served as Deputy Dean and CXO, Manchester Business School (2007-2012), and Assistant Dean, Rotman School of Management (1998-2007) where he established a globally ranked executive education business (Top 20 Business Week and Top 50 Financial Times). He is also the Founder and Principal of the educational consultancy, The Leadership Portfolio. Dr. Hartmann has over 25 years experience as an educational consultant, facilitator and trainer to organizations around the world. Keith is also a Professional Associate of the Gordon Institute of Business Science, the Number 1 business school in Africa.

Mark has over 20 years experience in the world of technology and professional services. With a portfolio career, Mark is the Market Development Director at a FTSE100 information and technology business, a senior advisor with Judge Business School’s professional services faculty, and an executive coach and consultant to large law firms. Mark spent the first ten years of his career as a technology and outsourcing lawyer before completing his MBA at Henley Business School and moving into a commercial role with a global outsourcing company. Seeing how critical change was becoming as a business issue, Mark then completed an MSc in Behavioural Change (also at Henley) to broaden his skills and help law firm leaders transform their businesses. Mark loves learning and remains constantly curious about how people and organisations can become more effective.
